Privacy Policy
What we store
- Your name and e-mail address, to run your account and send sign-in codes.
- If you set a password: only a one-way scrypt hash of it — the password itself is never stored and cannot be read back.
- The flights, aircraft, expiries, licence details and signature you enter.
- If you use the assistant: your questions and its answers, until you delete the chat, and how many questions you asked per day.
- Technical records: sign-in sessions, the IP address of sign-in requests, and an audit trail of changes.
- Billing state from PayPal (subscription status). Card details are handled by PayPal and never reach us. To subscribe, the billing page loads the provider’s own script and payment window; its privacy statement covers what you enter there.
Who can see it
Only you. Each pilot’s logbook is isolated in the database itself. The operator sees account-level information (name, e-mail, plan, number of flights) to run the service — not the content of your flights.
The assistant
The assistant’s answers are written by OpenAI’s AI. Only when you ask it something, your question, the recent part of that chat and the logbook figures needed for the answer (for example totals, dates, routes and remarks of matching flights) are sent to OpenAI. Under OpenAI’s API terms this data is not used to train their models; OpenAI may keep it for a limited time (normally up to 30 days) to detect abuse.
Deleting your data
You can delete your account in Settings at any time. Your logbook and signature are removed permanently.
